The What and Why of This Pilgrimage

It took me some time to come up with a name that I felt fit what I wanted this blog to be. I didn’t want to be confined to a narrow topic, I wanted the freedom to write as God moves me. That is my goal.

I suppose there will be some limitation as far as topics go. I definitely won’t be writing these articles, “Be known by your moose!” or, “This years best hunting camo”.  Those topics would be entirely up for grabs by my husband! That is his niche. My journey encompasses the role God has given me for the past 13 years. That is mainly wife, mother, homeschool mom, and christian worker. On top of these roles personality molds unique interests. This blog incorporates all of this.

This pilgrimage is a title with a message of unity. For those of us who have received Christ as our saviour, we are all on the same journey. Our goal is unified, and our destination the same. So many of our experiences, heartaches and joys in this life will overlap and draw us closer together as we identify with one another, and take turns encouraging the other. This is fellowship, and that is my goal here in This Pilgrimage.
